So in spirit of Valentine's Day, I'm gonna write a set of shippy drabbles involving Adam and one of the other members of his group. I'm bored, sue me. First up is Blue.

Adam had thought that he was perhaps the worst driver in their little group. Gansey was safe, but competent, Ronan drove with the precision of a surgeon and the attitude of a rock star, Kavinsky's only mode of driving was "fast", and the clues that he'd gotten from Noah seemed that he was no slouch, either.

He'd only ever seen Blue riding her bike or taking up a spot in the Pig, or Ronan's BMW, or the Tri-colored Honda, and very rarely, in Kavinsky's Evo. He'd never actually witnessed her behind the wheel until today, and now that this had become a thing, He almost wished he never had.

Two near-misses of other cars due to not hitting the breaks at a red light in time despite Blue's driving twenty miles an hour max on a major street as well as what must have been half an hour of people honking, flipping them off, and yelling about crazy psychics, and Adam was finally forced to make Blue pull over. Calla might complain about Adam driving later, but the safety of Blue and the car probably came first.

After a minorly tense argument, Adam finally managed to get her to pull over. She was still arguing, even though Adam hadn't said two words since pulling over. "...so sorry that the rest of the world can't be Adam Parrish and be good at everything, Mr. Man, but some of us need to share our cars. Do you know how rare it is for me to get this? Do you know that in Saudi Arabia women aren't even allowed to drive? I need to learn-"

Adam reached out, then, taking the shift and putting the car into park before anything unfortunate happened to either of them and looked at Blue. "This isn't some great debate over feminism, Blue. You need to learn." He leaned over, taking her hand in his and knocking their heads together. "But the evening rush is the absolute worst time to try that, followed by the morning rush." His lips were close, almost brushing against hers, feather soft breaths hitting his own, but he kept the distance. He watched her ja quirk in a swallow, and-

He pulled away, tamping down on the frustration. He took a deep breath and looked away, then back, almost as if magnetized to her form. "How about we take some time and you can drive in my car one of these days?"

Blue looked as lost as he did, troubled, but as to why, he couldn't place. There were still mysteries about her that Adam couldn't solve. Eventually she nodded and looked up, getting out of the driver's seat. "Yeah. Okay, fine."
