I'm heading off for a few days. There's something I need to do. Don't worry, I'll be back before the end of the weekend. Blue, can you walk Gunnar and feed the fish? They only eat french fries. Kavinsky, the Department of Transportation forms are in you and Lynch's room. Sign that stuff by the time I get back. Gansey, don't freak. I'm gonna be fine.

Nothing insane or magic related. I just have to fix a mistake. I'll be gone for a day, two days tops.

I wish everyone would stop taking off like this. Ronan and Kavinsky took off as well. You know you could just tell me what's going on.

[He's quiet for a long minute, and the only thing that can be heard from Adam's end is the sounds of the airport terminal. It's beyond stupid what he's doing, but Adam feels like heading off like this is the only way to fix things.]

I'm going to Belle Dam.

The supernatural place where Drew is from. By yourself. And you're already half way there, aren't you.

I'm still at the airport. And I'm not going to try and get into anything. I just need to fix things. He didn't take me telling him about Cabeswater that well, and. [He grunts in frustration.] I know it sounds stupid, but I can't let things end like that.

I can't imagine he would have. But at least you told him. [Trapping people in forests, Adam. That's just one of the many things Gansey can't imagine his friends would do]

i suppose you didn't speak to him about a possible idea that I might have, that could be important to all of our situations?

[Adam shakes his head, then scowls when he remembers Gansey can't see that.] I didn't get the chance. I told him about the trap first, and then he told me to leave. I wasn't going to argue with him about it.

[Another possible chance slipping through their fingers, he thinks. He doesn't know if Drew is going back permanently, but if what Adam is saying has upset the guy enough, he might very well be]

Alright. Go do your thing. I'll be here... [He wants to be snarky and say making out with Jane, but he knows a statement like that would be more foolish than funny, or snarky, so he keeps it to himself] I have too many things to research anyway.

Yeah. [He notices the tone that Gansey's using, and he can't help but feel guilty about it. After all, he'd just been pointing out there lack of time and now he's off doing his own thing as well.] I'll try researching this place while I'm here. It's got weird things going on with it too, right?

Yes, very weird things. Try to find out about the magic they have there, if you can. Or what Drew knows about it... if you manage to patch things up. I'm not really sure what's going on between the two of you, but I hope whatever it is, it works out.

Thanks. If what he says is true and there is a war there, it shouldn't take long. And I don't really know, either. That's what I'm trying to find out.

If he can help us with magic, we might be able to help him with that war. That's why I wanted to speak to him. Just go do what you need to do, Adam.
